Analysis of CO2 emissions in the in the Enterprise Sector and the development of a Carbon Emissions Reduction Model for the Enterprise Sector

Tender description

The Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation (DBEI) wishes to understand the profile of enterprise sector CO2 emissions and assess the feasibility of the available technologies that will aid in addressing the enterprise emissions targets set out in the Climate Action Plan. The Department also requires analysis of scenarios in which projected enterprise emissions change due to variations in national output or scenarios where emissions targets for the enterprise sector are revised either nationally or internationally. The Department of Business Enterprise & Innovation is seeking independent experts to undertake an analysis of the data available to establish a sub-sectoral breakdown of emissions within enterprise, to develop an interactive model of enterprise sector CO2 emissions abatement opportunities, and to provide insight into the feasibility of carbon abatement levels that can be achieved in Ireland through the different measures or interventions identified.
