Tender description

The Local Enterprise Office Cork North & West is part of Cork County Council’s Economic Development department and has the primary function of promoting enterprise and assisting with the development of micro-enterprises at local level. The LEO supports include financial assistance (subject to eligibility criteria), business advice, mentoring, training, networking and Trading Online Vouchers. As per the Enterprise Development Plan, the provision of training is a fundamental aspect of LEO supports to entrepreneurs in the region. The LEO currently provides a wide range of training supports to the small business owner/manager, all of which are highly subsidised. These training programmes and seminars equip entrepreneurs and business owners with the knowledge to plan, grow and sustain productivity, innovation and competitiveness. We are currently seeking tenders from suitably qualified trainers/consultants for all training delivery for the period of January 2020 until 31st December 2021. The contract will run for 24 months with an option to extend to a further 2 x 12 month period. Trainers may apply for more than 1 LOT. Please note that you cannot apply for more than 6 LOTS. The target audience for all programmes are owner/managers of a business employing 1-10 people or employees within a small business who need to upskill for the business. Such businesses include: entrepreneurs, start-ups as well as growing and established small businesses, across a range of sectors including: food, engineering, craft/gift, retail, online businesses, local professional services, technology and IT, agri-tech and internationally trading businesses. The list below is an indication of programmes under consideration and which will be scheduled subject to demand. They will be held at various locations and venues across Cork North & West catchment areas.
