Tender description

Sheffield City Council is keen for 2 road races: the Sheffield Half Marathon and 10 000 road races to be delivered by one provider. The Council’s vision over the life of the contract is for the races to develop by incorporating additional activities (a weekend of activities) to form a portfolio of events which will encourage the people of Sheffield to participate; attract visitors from outside the region to the City and increase Sheffield’s profile. This competitive bid opportunity is for the management, organisation and growth of the races to take place annually from 2021 and ending in (2027) with a break clause in year 5 (2025).
