Tender description

The Project comprises of the establishment of a 3 year Professional Services Framework to support the Solid Waste team with the delivery of various solid waste projects. The Solid Waste projects to be delivered are identified both within the Government Plan 2020-2023 for capital expenditure and also within existing operational and strategic departmental business plans. The expected value of the Professional Services Framework over the 3 year duration is in the order of £2,500,000. The objectives of the Project are: • To establish an approved set of technical consultancy requirements. • To procure the services of a Solid Waste consultant following a supported procurement strategy. • To establish a standard set of rates from which to employ the services of specialist consultants to support delivery of Solid Waste Projects. • To reduce time spent on procurement exercises for future projects by establishing this Framework. Current projects identified for this proposed framework to cover are: Inert Waste Site Feasibility Study. Solid Waste Strategy Review. Waste Stream Commercial Review. Solid Waste Weighbridge Software and Information System Review. Management and Treatment of cell Leachate Collection.
