Sewer construction work

Tender description

The works comprise the design and construction of infrastructure including the associated testing, commissioning and proving of the installed works comprising of; — new and upgraded gravity sewers with varying diameters along public roads and private and public lands for a total distance of approximately 9,4 km, — new foul sewer rising mains with varying diameters from along public roads and private and public lands for a total distance of approximately 8,6 km, — upgrade of Monread and Clane pumping stations and provision of additional stormwater storage capacity, — Trenchless motorway, rail and canal crossings, — upgrading the capacity of the existing Sallins stormwater storage. Also the demolition of: — the existing Monread Pumping Station control building and existing underground structures, — the existing Clane Pumping Station control building and existing underground structures. Irish Water plans to undertake the construction of new and upgraded gravity sewers, new foul sewers, rising mains, an upgrade of Monread and Clane pumping stations and upgrading capacity of existing Sallins stormwater storage.
