Pressure-reducing, control, check or safety valves

Tender description

Thames Water wishes to award one or more framework agreements to supplier(s) capable of providing maintenance activities within Pressure Management Areas (PMA's). This could include (but is not limited to) major and minor planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and condition based activity of PMA's and associated assets such as pressure reducing valves (PRVs), PRV controllers and critical point devices (CPDs). The scope of this procurement is for the provision of specialist maintenance services within pressure management areas (PMA's) across the Thames Water Water Network. The could include (but is not limited to) reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance and condition based activity. The desired candidate should have a proven track record in PMA Maintenance and an experienced, dedicated workforce to deliver the PMA activities mentioned above. Additionally, Thames Water are seeking a supplier that will provide an innovative contribution towards our key areas of development: — planned preventative maintenance, — condition based activity (asset health). In delivering these services a supplier will be expected to have familiarity and experience working in PMA conditions and with typical PMA assets such as (but not limited to) pressure reducing valves (PRVs), pressure sustaining valves (PSVs), PRV controllers and critical point devices (CPDs). For the avoidance of doubt the scope for this procurement does not include the supply of these assets. Thames Water purchase these assets through other existing Thames Water Framework Agreements. However, a successful bidder will be expected to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of these technologies and the capability to repair/replace them as required. Thames Water's PMA asset portfolio is broken down approximately as follows: — 864 Technolog Regulo Controllers, — 1007 Technolog Cello Critical Point Devices (CPDs), — 1135 Cla-Val Pressure Reducing Valves.
