Tender description
Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (the Council) is looking to establish a grant agreement with a single lead Provider for a period of 2 years (plus one extension of 12 months), that provides children and young people aged 8-14 years with the resources they need to transition healthy and happily into adolescent. This should include increasing the confidence, self-esteem, attitudes and aspirations of the children / young people involved. It is envisaged that this offer will include provision that is both school and community based and incorporates a light touch whole family element. The service will be commissioned by the North Area Council. The service delivered will benefit the communities of the following electoral wards: Darton East, Darton West, Old Town and St. Helen’s. The Council will hold an Applicant Guidance Open Day on the 21st January 2020 for this particular grant agreement. We have the potential to invite up to three applicants in the morning and three in the afternoon with a maximum of 3 representatives per applicant can attend. Attendance to the Applicant Guidance Open day will be allocated on a “first come first served basis and meet The Council’s requirements” and this is the only day The Council will offer. Applicants must, confirm if they require an AM or PM slot via the YORtender messages area. Your slot will be confirmed by the Council via Yortender. It must be made clear and noted by applicants, this is NOT a sales pitch opportunity. It is envisaged that the format of the session will be a one to one hour session with applicants to advise purely on the YORtender portal, any questions in regards to the grant application must be raised via the YORtender portal for transparency reasons. Following the Applicant Guidance Day, any questions that are raised will be released anonymously through the Yortender portal. Keywords: health and wellbeing, Children
