Tender description

The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust is currently seeking to engage with suppliers of waste management solutions (including innovative technologies) for waste disposal of clinical and healthcare waste. With increased national and global environmental concerns there is a strategic need for the Trust to develop new and more sustainable approaches to waste management and therefore the Trust is looking at companies that can provide new and upcoming solutions for waste reduction, treatment and disposal. In order to gain further insight into the market and to generate interest the Trust will be hosting events on 29.1.2020 and 3.2.2020, where potential bidders will be required to make a formal presentation. Potential providers should email the Trust at nicola.woodhead@nhs.net to obtain copies of the brief for the presentations and further details of the events. Potential providers would need to demonstrate an excellent record of compliance with the environment agency and that best available techniques (BAT) have been adopted which ensure that the solutions focus on preventing or minimising emissions and impacts on the environment.
