Glasgow City Council has a requirement for the supply, installation, maintenance and repair of various items of sensory equipment for those with hearing and visual impairments. Items may include but not limited to the following: — smoke alarms for the hearing impaired, — white floor lamps, — infrared headset system, — personal amplifiers, — stethoscope headsets, — loop systems, — audio transmitters, — amplified door bell and phone ringers, — personal listeners with stethoscope headsets, — personal listeners with neck loop. Note that suppliers do not need to provide the requirement in its entirety to participate in this market engagement exercise, suppliers that can provide any part of the requirement are encouraged to participate.
