M&E Framework for Consultancy Services for works up to €5m

Tender description

Fingal County Council is seeking to establish a Framework for Mechanical & Electrical Consultancy Services for a variety of public sector projects involving construction and modifications/refurbishment/upgrading/repair type projects including new build construction, modifications, refurbishment, upgrading/repair including but not limited to Public Buildings and Facilities, Heritage Properties, Public Realm type works and any other suitable projects that may be identified by the Contracting Authority. The projects envisaged will range in value up to € 5m and may be a combination of sub-projects. It is envisaged that the top 4 scoring Tenderers as set out in the attached COMPETITION SUMMARY document will be appointed to the framework. The framework will be established for a period of four (4) years with the option to extend it for further two (2) years. The period for delivery of any contracts awarded under the framework may extend beyond that date of expiry of the framework agreement. The Framework Agreement will be established on foot of an initial tender for 2 no contracts (combined). Projects under this Framework may require full or partial Stage Service delivery- this will be defined in future mini-competitions to the framework members. Depending on the nature of individual projects, the successful Mechanical & Electrical Consultant will either work as a member of a Multidisciplinary Design Team led by Design Team Lead appointed or may be required to take the role of the Team Lead and/or be solely responsible for the delivery and management of the project. While this framework is set up by Fingal County Council, it may also be used by South Dublin County Council, Dun-Laoghaire Rathdown County Council & Wicklow County Council
