Information: Temporary Teacher Assessment External Moderator Services We will shortly be inviting bids for temporary external teacher assessment (TA) moderators to visit a sample of local authorities (LAs) on behalf of Department for Education, Standard and Testing Agency. We are planning for the specification to go live from 3 February until 23 February 2020 on DfE's e-procurement system, Jaggaer. Moderation visits take place each year in May and June to review LAs TA moderation processes for: the early years foundation stage profile key stage 1 key stage 2 If you would like to know more about this upcoming opportunity and how to pre-register to bid, then please be aware that we will be holding a further information dial in session. This will be on 20 January at 3pm and will be a Skype audio session. If you wish to register interest for this session, please contact: Externalmoderator.VACANCYSUPPORT@education.gov.uk by no later than 9am on 20 January. Skype details will be sent to you following this deadline. Additional information: The publication of this notice does not signify the commencement of any procurement process and does not constitute any commitment by the Department for Education to undertake any procurement exercise. In the event that the Department for Education might decide to commence any procurement process as contemplated by this notice, a separate notice will be published at the relevant time. The DfE is keen to ensure that potential suppliers have as much notice as is possible about the services we wish to procure and this supports our agenda about encouraging engagement with Small and Medium Suppliers.
