Tender description

Laundry Refurbishment over a 5-year investment plan framework agreement. The Council is wishing to procure full refurbishment works, on a maintenance programme to various laundries, located in various properties, within the Bristol area. BCC intentions are to create a framework agreement which works can be called off via mini-competition. The contract is for the complete refurbishment of the laundries over a 5-year programme of works. The desired benefits are improving the experience to our customers by changing the machines within the laundry, improving the heights of the machines to suit some of our less abled customers. Also making the laundry a safer place to operate in by replacing the floor for non-slip tiling and upgrading the utility supplies. Success will measured by the projects being completed within budget and on time. To ensure the there is no disruption of service to the customers we will provide temporary laundries to all sites whilst the work is being carried out. Demonstrations will take place to ensure the customers know how the new laundry operates.
