Gosport Transition Team Data Controller

Tender description

The Supplier's key personnel shall be appointed as the Data Controller of the Gosport Transition team. The Supplier will be required, but not limited to, completing the following duties as the Gosport Transition Team Data Controller. 2.1. Advise DHSC, the Police and other interested parties about the legal use, sharing and retention of information relevant to Operation Magenta and the work of the Gosport Independent Panel 2.2. Advise the Police on the interpretation of information gathered by the Gosport Panel and guide the Police through the various databases on which the information sits. 2.3. Be accountable to the Department in process terms, while keeping the Department at arm's length in relation to the content as set out above. 2.4. Liaise with the information asset manager to maintain the integrity of the information assets and their independence from the Department of Health and Social Care, Operation Magenta and other stakeholders 2.5. Be responsible for dealing with any requests for information generated by stakeholders, families and DHSC 2.6. Management of the Gosport Independent Panel Website and meeting requests from effected families to remove information
