Tender description
The Council invites quotations for the provision of Croydon Deaf Access. The service will support d/Deaf people in Croydon to better access service and support them completing forms. The service will provide drop in sessions that will last approximately 30 minutes each and also the opportunity to book longer sessions at different times. The service will provide a BSL speaking officer in Access Croydon, Bernard Weatherill House for 16 hours per week over 3 days. The service will promote deaf awareness among Croydon Council staff, specifically in Access Croydon and they will act as an advocate for the d/Deaf community by representing them at partnership boards/steering groups. The service will provide the council with BSL videos for its website, in order to better promote the service and the information, advice and guidance available to the d/Deaf community in Croydon.
