Tender description
NIE Networks has a requirement for the provision of transmission overhead line contractors to assist with overhead line works throughout Northern Ireland. The overhead line works are carried out on 33 kV (tower lines only), 110 kV and 275 kV steel and wood pole structures and will include refurbishment, new build, re-stringing and fault and emergency work. Separate framework agreements for the provision of the works, across a number of separate lots, as detailed below: Lot 1: Refurbishment; Lot 2: New Build and Major Projects including (project value estimated under 5 000 000 GBP); Lot 3: New Build and Major Projects including (project value estimated over 5 000 000 GBP). The estimated value, excluding VAT for the potential total 8 year duration is as follows: Total 7 260 000 GBP-11 260 000 GBP per year, 58 000 000 GBP-90 000 000 GBP total over 8 years. Lot 1: Refurbishment. Lot 2: New build and major projects including (project value estimated under 5 000 000 GBP). Lot 3: New build and major projects including (project value estimated over 5 000 000 GBP).
