Summary of the work Review and update current user access permissions, provide a user access matrix and develop a user access policy. Specialist role Business analyst Expected Contract Length Until 31/03/2020 Latest start date Monday 6 January 2020 Who Speclialist Work With Internal information management, IT teams and a range of business representatives. What Specialists Work On In liaison with and coordination from Information Management team, carry out observational user rights to identify user needs for working with access rights and access checks for systems, processes and applications. Improve existing guidelines for the teams and work with IM team to get this published and communicated internally to staff Create user access matrix and a plan for for its maintenance. Update information asset register with links to user access. Help embed guidance and training for staff on understanding granting and checking of access rights understand how statement of access rights considerations . Skills & Experience • Relevant qualifications to the field of information management, or information assurance and security. • 3 years experience with managing information access permissions. • 3 years experience information governance/assurance/management background. • Experience of liaising and communicating with stakeholders at all levels. Nice to Haves • Experience of working with SharePoint and other Office 365 tools. • Experience keeping in line with GDPR Regulations and other information legislations • Experience of working with the public sector. Work Location Specialist can work remotely, or from any Ofsted offices in London, Bristol and Manchester. Working Arrangments 2-3 days on site. Specialists must pay expenses to and from their primary Ofsted location, other expenses will be agreed. No. of Specialists to Evaluate 3 Cultural Fit Criteria • Work as a team with our organisation and other suppliers. • Share knowledge and experience with other team members. • Ability to work with clients who have a low level of technical expertise. Can the Authority confirm if they are working with an incumbent supplier ? No. 2. What is the maximum day rate for this position? We do not want to influence supplier rates by publishing a budget. 3. Could you please clarify if the work can be carried out completely remotely without any days on site, or if the Analyst is required 2 days on site? We would consider proposals with a variety of of solutions, however we would require some onsite presence. 4. What is the IR35 status for this role? We have evaluated this role as being outside of IR35. 5. What is the anticipated number of days required to deliver this work? We would look to agree this with the successful supplier, but would anticipate approximately 60 days worth of work. 6. You reference 2-3 days on site – could you clarify whether this is per week/month etc? This would be per week.
