Wide area network services

Tender description

In 2019 Aberdeenshire Council issued an RFI (Request for Information), which has informed the terms of this RFP. Aberdeenshire Council is now further engaging with the market prior to undertaking formal procurement for the provision of a Wide Area Network. We are looking for a supplier approved to a CAS-T level or equivalent, who can provide, as a minimum, the expected bandwidth levels as specified in Appendices A or B which lists Aberdeenshire Council WAN Circuits. Appendix A gives the option of the Integrator specifying the topology completely. Appendix B gives the option of using the City Region Deal (CRD) dark fibre to be installed by SSE following a recent contract award. These fibre links cover only part of our geographical area.
