RFI Early Help: Community, Family and Parenting Project

Tender description

South Gloucestershire Council is inviting expressions of interest from potential providers who may be interested in developing a coordinated offer of family support across South Gloucestershire. This involves making available parenting programmes to everyone who needs it and training practitioners and volunteers working with children, young people and families to work in a strength-based, whole family way. Interventions must be evidence-based, include the whole family and clearly evidence improved outcomes. The project will specifically support two of the main priorities in the council’s Early Help Partnership Strategy 2019-24 which are to: • Recognise that family, friends and community can be the most effective and sustainable forces of “help” • Embrace a strengths based, whole-family approach to finding sustainable solutions The work will concentrate on families requiring help at ‘Universal Plus’ and will contribute to Families in Focus (the national Troubled Families Programme).
