Tender description

This contract, MEDGS/00279, was awarded to Sychem Ltd on 16 May 2016 on a 4-year term. The current circumstances, related to Covid-19, have impacted the ability to effectively re-compete this requirement. Consequently Leidos Supply Ltd will be extending this agreement by 6 months from 18 May 2020, with the option to extend for a further 6 months (12 in total) if circumstances deem it necessary. The anticipated value of this extension is GBP 300 000, which brings the total estimated contract value to +50 % of the 2016 advertised value. The extension will allow both continuity of supply of a vital MoD support function, whilst allowing Leidos time too effectively and compliantly re-let the requirement in accordance with PCR 2015. The requirement is for the support of the Ministry of Defence’s (MOD) Medical Device Decontamination Capability, which may include annual servicing, repair, spare parts and consumables.
