Derry City and Strabane District Council wish to appoint companies with the necessary experience, capabilities and infrastructure to supply, deliver and support the following vehicles for deployment within their current municipal fleet: — 2 No New 26 000 Kg MAM Low-entry Refuse Collection Vehicles; — (Lot 1) 1 No New 16 000 Kg MAM Refuse Collection Vehicle; — (Lot 2) 1 No New 15 000 Kg MAM Truck-mounted Mechanical Sweeper; — (Lot 3) 1 No New 12 000 Kg MAM Truck-mounted Mechanical Sweeper; — (Lot 4) 1 No New 7 500 Kg MAM Flatbed Transporter with Powered Ramps; — (Lot 5) 2 No New 2 350 Kg MAM Panel Vans; — (Lot 6) 1 No New/Second-user Long Wheel Base Executive Saloon Car; — (Lot 7) Please refer to appendices for detailed specifications for each lot. All vehicles to be delivered to specification, fully fuelled pre-delivery inspected and with a complete set of replacement original equipment filters. Suppliers can apply for all or individual lots. 1) Final acceptance of all vehicles will be based on an inspection carried out by Derry City and Strabane District Council Fleet Manager or designate. Failure to comply with all aspects of specification may result in refusal. 2) Note: Derry City and Strabane District Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender submitted. Derry City and Strabane District Council reserve the right to amend the quantities tendered in response to the availability of financial resources.
