Tender description

AFBI require a contractor to supply and deliver liquid media for the isolation of mycobacterium species including mycobacterium bovis. Media will be ordered as required by the tuberculosis laboratory within the bacteriology branch and delivered to the central stores, veterinary sciences division. It is estimated that AFBI will require the supply of a minimum of 3 000 tubes in the first year and subsequently in each year thereafter. Orders will be placed with the contractor as and when required by AFBI. It is estimated that typical order volumes will be a minimum of 600 tubes and six boxes of supplement per order, however these volumes are subject to change and no minimum order volume is guaranteed.
