Tender description

Waterford City & County Council is proposing demolition and reconstruction repair works to the West Pier at Helvick Harbour, Co. Waterford. The pier is of concrete construction and is in a state of disrepair. The works shall consist of the scope of works shown on the drawings and specifications including as a summary:  Provide, maintain and dismantle safe access to the works;  Provide, maintain and dismantle traffic management for the duration of the works;  Provide, maintain and dismantle facilities for the duration of the works;  Disposal offsite of waste materials generated on site;  Set-up of suitable works plant and equipment;  Stockpiling of material;  Protection of existing services;  Take down and set aside lighting;  Initial investigation works (bathymetric and geotechnical)  Demolition works;  Excavations;  Piling works;  Pre-cast concrete works;  In-situ concrete works;  New ladder;  Handrails;  Re-installation of lighting;  PSCS role for the duration of the works.
