This is a market information exercise and may not necessarily lead to any future procurement process. In the event that it does proceed, it is not yet certain which procurement route would be followed. Hampshire County Council is carrying out a market engagement exercise to alert the supply chain to the procurement of specialist Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Services. The range of services include individual commissions of ground and geological investigations for revenue and capital construction projects covering site investigation services, boreholes and trial pits, windowless sampling and dynamic probing with associated laboratory testing, interpretation of data, assessment and reporting with recommendations and guidance as appropriate. The current proposals are for a four year multi-supplier framework within the geographical area of Hampshire including the unitary authorities of Portsmouth and Southampton. This exercise is to inform the market of a potential future procurement. Any future tender process will require further registration and appropriate assessment.
