Framework Agreement of Onshore Engineering Services, Workshop & Storage - Faroes Islands

Tender description

This ITT is for Framework Agreement of Onshore Engineering Services in the Faroe Isles to support the operation and maintenance of Minesto’s novel marine energy technology called Deep Green. The scope of supply of this framework is divided into two lots:  Lot 1 – Onshore Engineering Services  Lot 2 – Workshop and Storage Area Suppliers are welcome to tender for either one or both lots, depending on supply capabilities. The Framework should preferably have prices valid for 2 years, with possibility to thereafter review and extend the framework additionally 2 years (total 4 years) if requested from Minesto and agreed between the parties. Minesto will be installing tidal energy devices in the waters surrounding the Faroe Isles, initially in Vestmannasund with further installations planned in other locations and will require facilities and services in the Faroe Isles in order to support these activities. Lot 1: Onshore Engineering Services Minesto are looking for a Contractor that can provide onshore operational support in the Faroe Isles and assist with the development of low flow tidal energy projects, for works both in the supplier’s own workshop an at Minesto’s operational sites in the Faroe Islands. The services required under this framework agreement includes but are not limited to; Engineering Support, Manpower, Cranes, Material Handling, Transport and Tools.. Please note that Minesto is a private company and does not qualify as a “contracting authority” as defined in Directive 2004/18/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council. Minesto may therefore choose not to fully comply with requirements on contracting authorities as described in the EC guidelines Lot 2: Workshop and Storage - Faroe Islands Minesto is looking for a workshop to facilitate the maintenance and repair of Minesto assets and a outdoor storage and indoor storage area as per described in the ITT-documents.. Please note that Minesto is a private company and does not qualify as a “contracting authority” as defined in Directive 2004/18/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council. Minesto may therefore choose not to fully comply with requirements on contracting authorities as described in the EC guidelines
