Feasibility Study on Enterprise Space in Galway City for the provision of Social Enterprises and business’s operating in the Circular Economy. Galway City Council now plan to carry out a detailed review of enterprise space specifically for the Social Enterprise and Circular Economy needs across the city. Commitment to this sector is clearly set out in the Galway City Local Economic & Community Plan 2015-2021 and aims to develop Galway as a “Centre of Excellence for Social Enterprise”. This local commitment is reinforced the Governments National Social Enterprise Policy for Ireland 2019-2022 and Future Jobs Ireland 2019. This Feasibility Study will inform, support and ultimately drive the sectors growth across the City. This Project will be made of two parts- 1. Review of Enterprise Space in Galway City for the provision of Social Enterprises and business’s operating in the Circular Economy. 2. Preparation of a Funding Application for the delivery of a Social Enterprise/Circular Economy Project or Projects as set out by Galway City Council following the Feasibility Study (Part 1). (Part 2 will only apply where the Local Authority identifies a suitable project and wishes to proceed with a funding application.
