Tender description

The focus of this service will be recovery and social inclusion, the idea of building a life beyond mental illness, and will include the ability to work with individuals who may be reluctant to engage. The service will recognise that in order to give people choice, a range of different elements should be provided that include a variety of structured and less structured options. Individuals will be able to agree objectives that reflect their own personal journey of recovery and create the conditions in which they feel empowered to participate in their own community and lead a more independent life away from mental health services. These objectives will focus on finding or creating new social networks and re-engaging as active members of their communities. Wiltshire Council will be holding a provider consultation event for this project on Thursday 23rd July 2020 between 15:00-17:30 via Microsoft teams. This session will involve a short presentation as well as some break out group work, there will also be opportunity for providers to ask questions.
