Dún Laoghaire Rathdown Co. Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced works contractor to construct Tully Park Phase 2, a public park in the Cherrywood area of county Dublin. The aim of the project is to deliver a top quality public park within the Cherrywood SDZ area, on a site of c.6.0 hectares. The works to be carried out include, but are not limited to, civil engineering works and the installation of hard and soft landscaping to the Tully Park area in Cherrywood, Co. Dublin. The works will also include the construction of a Tea Room on site with associated mechanical and electrical installations and also the construction / installation of childrens play areas. Earthworks, formation of paths, parking areas and other hard standing areas, the installation of ramped steps and lighting columns will also be included in this contract. The siteworks for all of the above mentioned works will also be included in this contract. The site is in close proximity to National Monuments protected by ministerial order, including Tully Church and Burial Grounds, and there is known to be underground archaeology on the site. The site is also ecologically sensitive. This will need to be taken into account and monitored during the works on site.
