Team Leidos would like to make interested suppliers aware that it intends to tender for the Supply of Aural Protection for Musicians which includes active Aural Protection suitable for use by musicians. The framework length will not exceed 4 years, and is anticipated to commence late 2021. The value of this framework is estimated to be between £500,000 - £1,000,000 Additional information: This will involve procurement of active aural protection suitable for use by musicians.The hearing protection should be discrete in order to maintain appropriate appearance of ceremonial dress. They should provide impulse noise protection and must be suitable for outdoor use. Automatic protection should activate when hearing is at risk. This would require an adaptive system which reacts to dangerous noise levels. The tender process is likely to include user trials, for which bidders will need to provide sample equipment. Leidos Supply Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos Europe Limited, is undertaking this procurement as body governed by public law and as subcontractor to Leidos Europe Limited to meet a requirement of the UK Ministry of Defence pursuant to the Logistics Commodities and Services Transformation Delivery Partner Contract (LCS(T)/0001 dated 16.4.2015) between Leidos Europe Limited and the UK.
