Stairlifts

Tender description

This framework is for the provision of a single contractor for the service, survey, supply, install, remove, recondition store of stairlifts, vertical lifts and platform lifts funded by disabled facilities grants. Adaptations are currently delivered through an Internal Home Improvement Agencies (HIA). HIA’s are not for profit organisations which assist vulnerable homeowners or tenants, who are older, disabled or on low incomes to repair or adapt their homes. The budget is administered by the Council’s Regeneration and Local Services department. Adaptations are available to owner-occupiers, landlords and tenants and are delivered to people who have been assessed by an Occupational Therapist (OT) as having an essential need to enable them to live more independently.
