Tender description

The works are to design and construct a flood gate across an existing slipway in Tweedmouth, Berwick - along with any necessary enabling civil engineering works. There is an existing ornamental gate at the top of the slipway which shall be incorporated into the new flood gate. Photos of the existing site are provided below. The objectives of the project are to reduce flood risk from the Tweed Estuary to the surrounding area by installing an easy to operate flood gate across the slipway.
