Tender description

Thames Water intends to award a number of framework agreements to one or more than one party for the maintenance of its dewatering equipment. The type of maintenance will be shared/total care where the suppliers are responsible for the availability of the equipment. In a total care maintenance agreement, Thames Water will not be performing any maintenance tasks, while on a shared care maintenance agreement, Thames Water will operate defined basic daily activities (Front Line Maintenance activities). Lot 1: Shared Care Maintenance of all Belt Filter Presses and Gravity Belt Thickeners. Lot 2: Total Care Maintenance of all Bucher Presses Shared care maintenance of the 32 belt filter presses and 55 gravity belt thickeners across all Thames Water Region (number under validation). Shared Care means having partial autonomy/responsibility for the maintenance of a client's asset(s) (the customer performing defined maintenance tasks e.g. Front Line Maintenance tasks) and being responsible for an element of its performance (e.g. Availability/Output). Total care maintenance of the 19 bucher presses across all Thames Water Region (number under validation). Total care means having complete autonomy/responsibility for the maintenance of a client's asset(s) and being responsible for an element of its performance (e.g. Availability/Output).
