The Borough Council of Bolton (“the Authority and/or Client”) is prepared to receive tenders for Bolton Music & Performing Arts Centre Architectural Design Services which will be subject to the information, specification and tender package enclosed. his procurement exercise is being run as an open Invitation to Tender (ITT) and the Authority will appoint a single (1) contractor on the Contract. It is intended for the Contract to commence on 19 June 2020 and will end on 31 July 2020. To assist with its Future High Street Fund (FHSF) bid for Bolton town centre, the Borough Council of Bolton, (the “Client”), is seeking to appoint an architect (the “Consultant”) to prepare RIBA Stage 2 plans for the Bolton Music & Performing Arts Centre. Please note, RIBA Stage 0 and Stage 1 have already been completed. This opportunity calls for innovative design proposals to create a new build, flagship cultural facility with the potential to have a transformational impact on Bolton Town Centre. It will be a place that responds to and captures Bolton’s distinctive multi-cultural identity and enables the musical and broader educational and cultural life of the borough to grow.
