Lambeth Staff Pool Bike Booking System Upgrade - RFQ

Tender description

Lambeth Council currently runs a fleet of 20 pool bikes for staff. The fleet comprises of 6 x Brompton's, 1 x folding bike, 9 standard bikes, 1 x folding e-bike, 2 x e-bikes and 1 x e-cargo bike. The current booking system is run with the use of a calendar located on the council's intranet where staff can book bikes for use. The existing calendar system is not user friendly and considered a barrier to staff engagement. It also provides little in the way of analytics. We would therefore like to source a new app-based booking system that works in conjunction with automated bike locks that can be fitted to our existing bikes. The desired outcomes are: • To provide a means by which staff can view the availability of pool bikes and book the bikes using a phone-based app. • To provide a locking system for existing pool bikes that can be unlocked and locked with the use of the app. • To see an increase in staff engagement as a result of the changes Further details including specification, method statement, evaluation criteria and terms and conditions can be found in the attached document.
