Tender description
A direct award for specialist care and support services for adults to continue with existing service provision with present framework service providers for the three lots within the original framework. This is due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation and the unavailability of key staff for both the Council and service providers who would otherwise be available to assist with the tendering process. Focusing on prevention, early intervention and maintaining and promoting independence, enabling people to live independently in their own homes where they choose to do so, the council wish to continue to utilize the existing framework for services for community support and care services for adults with autism spectrum disorder requiring specialist autism services for a further period of 6 months beyond the contract expiry date of 31 December 2020. Focusing on prevention, early intervention and maintaining and promoting independence, enabling people to live independently in their own homes where they choose to do so, the council wish to continue to utilize the existing framework for services for community support and care service for adults with a learning disability, physical disability, and autism spectrum disorder (not requiring services from a specialist autism provider)for a further period of 6 months beyond the contract expiry date of 31 December 2020. Focusing on prevention, early intervention and maintaining and promoting independence, enabling people to live independently in their own homes where they choose to do so, the council wish to continue to utilize the existing framework for services for personal care and assistance for adults with a learning disability, physical disability and autism spectrum disorder for a further period of 6 months beyond the contract expiry date of 31 December 2020.
