GMIT Galway Campus Single Operator Framework Agreement Landscaping Services 2020

Tender description

The Contracting Authority (Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology) invites tender submissions in relation to the establishment of a single party framework agreement. GMIT wishes to establish a Framework Agreement contract for routine grounds maintenance, landscaping services, tree felling and pitch maintenance at our GMIT Galway Campus Sites (Including the Dublin Road Campus and our CCAM (Cluain Mhuire) Campus). A framework agreement constitutes a means of establishing overall terms and conditions in accordance with which, for a specified duration, individual contracts may or may not be awarded. The maximum duration of the framework will be four (4) years subject to satisfactory annual review of performance. The Contracting Authority confirms that the period of any contracts awarded under the framework agreement may extend beyond the date of expiry of the agreement. The initial contract involves the partial upkeep and maintenance of the Institutes planting and soft landscape. Services include provision of grass cutting, planting, soft landscaping services, pitch maintenance, and tree felling services as required by the Institute on a draw down basis.
