Tender description

West England Forest District requires qualified contractors who can demonstrate professionalism, experience and a suitable work profile in Direct Production (DP) Harvesting. All contractors must be highly experienced at working within heavily visited public areas. Lot 1 is to harvest 8 800 tonnes per year from the Forest of Dean (an estimated equivalent of 10 000 m3obs) and present the roundwood products to our specification to roadside. Lot 2 is to harvest 8 800 tonnes per year from the Forest of Dean and the wider West England Forest District (an estimated equivalent of 10 000 m3obs) and present the roundwood products to our specification to roadside. Lot 3 is to harvest 4 400 tonnes per year from the Forest of Dean (an estimated equivalent of 5 000 m3obs) and present the roundwood products to our specification to roadside. Lot 4 is to harvest 4 400 tonnes per year from the Forest of Dean (an estimated equivalent of 5,000 m3obs) and present the roundwood products to our specification to roadside.
