Tender description

Trackers and cameras for fleet. The contract is open to any Cheshire West and Chester legal entities as detailed in the Invitation to tender. Supply and fit of equipment including back office monitoring software. The purpose of this contract is to consolidate the existing supply of telematics by two suppliers into a contract for the provision of both tracker and camera equipment by one sole supplier. We currently operate 326 vehicles/plant items: — small cars — 49, — medium cars — 7, — large cars — 3, — people carriers — 8, — standard minibuses — 14, — accessible minibuses — 38, — vans — 77, — vans over 3.5t — 0, — land rovers — 4, — pick-ups — 8, — mobile libraries – 3, — HGV’s — 28, — plant/specialist items – 87 (including 35 mowing machines, 10 sweepers and other items of small plant). This fleet is made up of both leased vehicles and vehicles which are owned by the council. Vehicles which are leased have a variety of lease hire periods which will need to be accommodated within this cont Trackers and cameras.
