Supply, Delivery and Installation of a Marine Data Buoy with two (2) Sonde and Sensor Systems for Dublin City University (DCU)

Tender description

Dublin City University requires a 1.9m Data Buoy with one Sea-Bird Scientific HydroCAT-EP to be installed and deployed in Dublin Bay at a latitude of 53°21.603’N and a longitude of 006°05.817’W for Water Analysis. An essential element of this is the collection and transferal of Sonde Data to a University website (PREDICT). A second Sea-Bird Scientific HydroCAT-EP is also required for other use. Sea-Bird Scientific HydroCAT-EPs are required so that results are compatible with our international collaborators. All sensors need to be independently calibrated and validated by a third party. Both Sondes need to be able to facilitate other sensors that may be required in the future. The data buoy sonde should be set up to house satellite data at a later date.
