Heating-plant repair and maintenance work

Tender description

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea are looking to appoint a single contractor to deliver a planned maintenance and response repairs services for the communal heating, hot water, ventilation plant, sewage and storm water pumps, cold water booster sets and associated installations systems in residential blocks throughout the borough. Like many social housing providers, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is working towards delivering cost effective and efficient services to its residents. We are now looking to appoint a single long-term partner of choice to carry out communal heating planned maintenance and response repairs of communal heating, hot water and ventilation plants, sewage, storm and cold water boost pumps and any associated equipment to provide the service. The programme being procured will use the JCT 2016 Measured Term Form of Contract, running from November /December 2016 for four years with an option to extend for up to a further four (4). The housing stock served by the communal plant consists of approximately 4 600 dwellings or properties ranging from tower blocks up to 35 storeys to single Victorian street houses.
