Tender description

The Blood Services of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and Ireland wish to put in place an interim contract for the supply of Apheresis Collection systems. The Blood Services of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and Ireland wish to put in place an interim contract for the supply of Apheresis Collection systems. Apheresis procedures allow the collection of a single, double or triple adult therapeutic dose of platelets from one donor. Apheresis machines collect whole blood and separate it into its component parts. As the platelets are collected, the other blood components are returned to the donor. The interim contract will be for a period of 2 years, this will offer supply stability over the period of the contract and allow us to conclude a new OJEU tender.
