The advice service will provide free, independent, impartial advice and support within a culture of equality and diversity. The advice service will provide free, independent, impartial advice and support within a culture of equality and diversity. The provision of a local, community focused advice service will ensure residents are able to access the advice and support they need at the right time. The advice will be efficient and effective in preventing and reducing the problems faced by residents. The service is expected to provide advice and support across a wide range of areas, including (but not limited to): • housing and tenancy issues (e.g. tenancy rights, threats of illegal eviction, rent and mortgage arrears, etc.), • welfare benefit, • finance and debt, • employment law, • family law, • generalist advice.
