A bespoke capacity building training for the strategy, planning and implementation of the Commercialisation of Loop head Tourism

The Project Loop Head Tourism is aware that, to be truly successful, Commercialisation is not a one-off project, but rather a process; and being able to manage this process long term will need the right engagement mentality and strong skills base inside the association (both its Board and Network Members). This project aims to design, develop and implement a bespoke training program to equip the LHT board and close collaborators (network members, contractors) with the ability to manage a larger and more professional LHT Team - including Network Sub-committees (volunteering bodies), paid contractors (and, in the long term, coordinating staff); successfully build & manage relationships with external stakeholders such as associates, supporters, communities, authorities. This Training program is meant to support and complement the Commercialisation 2.0, which will run, for the most part, in parallel. Project Expected Outputs: 1. Approx. 30 LHT people able to manage diverse teams – including teams of contractors and volunteers – and external stakeholder relationships to ensure the long term success of the LHT Commercialisation journey. A stakeholder engagement management system, with supporting manual.
