Tender description

To provide captive management services for the NDA Estate and any non-departmental government bodies. The NDA captive, Rutherford Indemnity Ltd (’Rutherford’), plays a significant role in how insurable risks are financed. Rutherford is based in Guernsey, and regulated in accordance with GFSC rules and requirements. Rutherford participates in the NDA insurance programme. NDA buys an insurance programme from the commercial insurance market. Rutherford participates in the NDA insurance programme underwriting crime, marine radiation, marine cargo, motor, private medical, property damage, public liability, radiation liability, rail freight liability, contractors all risks, nuclear site and marine liability, marine hull, personal accident/travel and group life.
