Tender description
East England Forest District requires qualified contractors who can demonstrate professionalism, experience and a suitable work profile in Direct Production (DP) harvesting. All contractors must be highly experienced at working within heavily visited public areas. 1. Lot 1 is to harvest 17 600 tonnes per year from Thetford Forest (an estimated equivalent of 20 000 M3OBS) and present the roundwood products to our specification to roadside. 2. Lot 2 is to harvest 8 800 tonnes per year from across the Kent and Weald beats (an estimated equivalent of 10 000 M3OBS) and present the roundwood products to our specification to roadside.
