Tender description

This is a new VEAT Notice in connection with the Traffic Scotland Operations and Infrastructure Service contract procurement, this notice supersedes the existing VEAT Notice published 18/03/2020 reference: https://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/search/show/search_view.aspx?ID=MAR383904 Extension of Traffic Scotland Operations and Infrastructure Contract by 15 months (until October 2021) with an option to extend by an additional maximum period of 5 months (until March 2022) to ensure service continuity during and after the current coronavirus, COVID-19, outbreak and to allow for the completion of re-procurement of the requirement in accordance with the Public Contract (Scotland) Regulations 2015. The scope of the contract remains as awarded and will include compliance with and delivery of all management responsibilities, service and works activities in the service areas described in the pre-qualification prospectus. This is a Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency (VEAT) Notice to indicate that the Scottish Ministers intend to extend the current traffic scotland operations and infrastructure services contract by 15 months (until October 2021) with an option to extend by an additional maximum period of 5 months (March 2022) to ensure service continuity during and after the current coronavirus, COVID-19, outbreak and to allow for the completion of re-procurement of the requirement in accordance with the 2015 Regulations.
