RFT for foreign language translation of technical legal EU Court documents

Tender description

The Department of Finance is undertaking a procurement process for the engagement of a company to provide foreign language translation services in respect of EU Court documents. The documents requiring translation will include documents lodged to the EU Courts by parties to proceedings, documents issued directly by the EU Courts, and also ancillary documents relevant to proceedings in these Courts. The subject matter of the documents requiring translation will be EU fiscal State aid cases. The objective of the Department of Finance in issuing this tender is to engage a company who can: (i) Provide high quality translations of EU Court documents, lodged with both the General Court of the EU and the Court of Justice of the EU, in particular for the proceedings of EU fiscal State aid cases. (ii) Manage all processes and resources to deliver these translations within tight deadlines.
