Notice of abandonment of procurement. In accordance with Regulation 55 (1) Public Contracts Regulations 2015 we advise you that we no longer intend to continue with this competitive procurement process commenced by the OJEU Notice dispatched on 28 February 2020 under reference 2020/S 042-100565 for the above contract for the following reasons: Due to the current situation regarding Covid-19, we have decided to suspend this process to allow both ours and your organisation to concentrate their efforts on beating the virus. A new process will be run when the situation going forward is more clear. Derby City Council (‘the Council’) procured for a new contract for the processing of organics waste. The Council required a contractor to provide a processing facility for the receipt and processing of the organics waste and associated services such as marketing of the output materials.
