Tender description

Tipperary County Council (TCC) Machinery Section is currently seeking to purchase 1 No. 32 Tonne Truck Chassis. The vehicle must comply with the statutory provisions laid down in current Road Traffic Regulations. It should be designed for acceleration combined with good road holding and crew safety considerations. The life expectancy of the vehicle to be at least 20 years. The successful tenderer shall provide proof that they are a main dealer for vehicle they have tendered. All tenderers will be required to nominate three previous customers to whom they have supplied similar vehicles to in the last 12 months. TCC may send out a questionnaire to these customers and the results will be used to allocate marks in section 13.4 of the award criteria. (See appendix 1 for copy of questionnaire)
