Tender description
The Creative Ireland Programme seeks expert support services in the ongoing development and implementation of innovative programme initiatives and targeted training supports (both training development and delivery). The services provided will relate to provision both within the formal education sector and in community-based settings. However, the former is likely to represent the priority area of development in the short to medium term. The successful tenderer must demonstrate experience of appropriate research, policy development and training (both training development and delivery) in the field of cultural and artistic creativity. Demonstrable experience of delivering projects with a key focus on the formal education sector is also preferable. Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of both the Irish education system and the arts in education policy landscape is desirable. Securing broad consensus within the sector is vital to the implementation of the Creative Youth Plan, and as such the successful tenderer must also demonstrate appropriate competence in and experience of dealing with a range of key stakeholders (including but not limited to Government Departments, State Bodies, regulatory bodies, professional representative bodies). Given that the Creative Youth Plan also contains a focus on actions to support and increase engagement with artistic, cultural creativity in community-based, out-of-school setting, the services sought may also be required to be utilised in the achievement of the Plan’s wider policy objectives. As such tenderers must demonstrate experience of development and delivery of community-based initiatives.
