Tender description

North Ayrshire Council (the Council) invites tenders for the framework agreement for the supply of composite front and rear doorsets including fire doors as detailed in this invitation to tender. The framework will be for a period of 2 years commencing 24 February 2020 until 23 February 2022 with the option to extend for up to a further 2 x 12 month periods until 23 February 2024. Bidders must already have or commit to obtain, prior to the commencement of the contract, the following level of insurance cover: Public/products liability insurance — GBP 10 000 000 Employer’s liability insurance — GBP 10 000 000 Motor vehicle insurance Bidders must be accredited to BS OHSAS 18001 or an SSIP Registered Member or provide a current, signed and dated health and safety policy. Bidders must be ISO 9001 certified or provide details of their quality policy or detail how they control the quality of product and supply. Bidders must hold a UKAS (or equivalent) accredited independent third party certificate of compliance with ISO 14001 (or equivalent) or a valid EMAS (or equivalent) certificate or provide details of their Environmental Management Policy. Bidders must adhere to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 including North Ayrshire Council's Modern Slavery Code of Conduct.
